ARM: mach-shmobile: sh7372 A3SM support

This patch adds sh7372 A3SM power domain support.

The sh7372 A3SM hardware power domain contains the
ARM Cortex-A8 CPU Core including L2 cache. This
sleep mode can be seen as a one step deeper sleep
mode from the already existing Core Standby mode.

To wake up from A3SM sleep only a few wakeup sources
are supported - so the regular INTC controller will
not be able to help us unfortunately.

The code in this patch will enter A3SM sleep via the
regular Suspend-to-RAM interface in the case of only
wakeups supported by A3SM are enabled. If unsupported
wakeups are enabled then Core Standby will be used
instead.

PM / Domains: Preliminary support for devices with power.irq_safe set

The generic PM domains framework currently doesn't work with devices
whose power.irq_safe flag is set, because runtime PM callbacks for
such devices are run with interrupts disabled and the callbacks
provided by the generic PM domains framework use domain mutexes
and may sleep.  However, such devices very well may belong to
power domains on some systems, so the generic PM domains framework
should take them into account.

For this reason, modify the generic PM domains framework so that the
domain .power_off() and .power_on() callbacks are never executed for
a domain containing devices with power.irq_safe set, although the
.stop_device() and .start_device() callbacks are still run for them.

Additionally, introduce a flag allowing the creator of a
struct generic_pm_domain object to indicate that its .stop_device()
and .start_device() callbacks may be run in interrupt context
(might_sleep_if() triggers if that flag is not set and one of those
callbacks is run in interrupt context).

Since the PM clock management code in drivers/base/power/clock_ops.c
is used for both runtime PM and system suspend/hibernation, the
definitions of data structures and headers related to it should not
be located in include/linux/pm_rumtime.h.  Move them to a separate
header file.

PM / Domains: Use power.sybsys_data to reduce overhead

Currently pm_genpd_runtime_resume() has to walk the list of devices
from the device's PM domain to find the corresponding device list
object containing the need_restore field to check if the driver's
.runtime_resume() callback should be executed for the device.
This is suboptimal and can be simplified by using power.sybsys_data
to store device information used by the generic PM domains code.

PM: Reference counting of power.subsys_data

Since the power.subsys_data device field will be used by multiple
filesystems, introduce a reference counting mechanism for it to avoid
freeing it prematurely or changing its value at a wrong time.

Make the PM clocks management code that currently is the only user of
power.subsys_data use the new reference counting.

Instead of coding the undocumented dependencies between power domains
A3RV and A4LC on SH7372 directly into the low-level power up/down
routines, make A3RV be a subdomain of A4LC, which will cause the
same dependecies to hold.

PM / Domains: Allow generic PM domains to have multiple masters

Currently, for a given generic PM domain there may be only one parent
domain (i.e. a PM domain it depends on).  However, there is at least
one real-life case in which there should be two parents (masters) for
one PM domain (the A3RV domain on SH7372 turns out to depend on the
A4LC domain and it depends on the A4R domain and the same time). For
this reason, allow a PM domain to have multiple parents (masters) by
introducing objects representing links between PM domains.

The (logical) links between PM domains represent relationships in
which one domain is a master (i.e. it is depended on) and another
domain is a slave (i.e. it depends on the master) with the rule that
the slave cannot be powered on if the master is not powered on and
the master cannot be powered off if the slave is not powered off.
Each struct generic_pm_domain object representing a PM domain has
two lists of links, a list of links in which it is a master and
a list of links in which it is a slave.  The first of these lists
replaces the list of subdomains and the second one is used in place
of the parent pointer.

Each link is represented by struct gpd_link object containing
pointers to the master and the slave and two struct list_head
members allowing it to hook into two lists (the master's list
of "master" links and the slave's list of "slave" links).  This
allows the code to get to the link from each side (either from
the master or from the slave) and follow it in each direction.

PM / Domains: Add "wait for parent" status for generic PM domains

The next patch will make it possible for a generic PM domain to have
multiple parents (i.e. multiple PM domains it depends on).  To
prepare for that change it is necessary to change pm_genpd_poweron()
so that it doesn't jump to the start label after running itself
recursively for the parent domain.  For this purpose, introduce a new
PM domain status value GPD_STATE_WAIT_PARENT that will be set by
pm_genpd_poweron() before calling itself recursively for the parent
domain and modify the code in drivers/base/power/domain.c so that
the GPD_STATE_WAIT_PARENT status is guaranteed to be preserved during
the execution of pm_genpd_poweron() for the parent.

This change also causes pm_genpd_add_subdomain() and
pm_genpd_remove_subdomain() to wait for started pm_genpd_poweron() to
complete and allows pm_genpd_runtime_resume() to avoid dropping the
lock after powering on the PM domain.

PM / Domains: Make pm_genpd_poweron() always survive parent removal

If pm_genpd_remove_subdomain() is called to remove a PM domain's
subdomain and pm_genpd_poweron() is called for that subdomain at
the same time, and the pm_genpd_poweron() called by it recursively
for the parent returns an error, the first pm_genpd_poweron()'s
error code path will attempt to decrement the subdomain counter of
a PM domain that it's not a subdomain of any more.

Rearrange the code in pm_genpd_poweron() to prevent this from
happening.

After the subdomain counter in struct generic_pm_domain has been
changed into an atomic_t field, it is possible to modify
pm_genpd_poweron() and pm_genpd_poweroff() so that they don't take
the parents locks.  This requires pm_genpd_poweron() to increment
the parent's subdomain counter before calling itself recursively
for the parent and to decrement it if an error is to be returned.

PM / Domains: Implement subdomain counters as atomic fields

Currently, pm_genpd_poweron() and pm_genpd_poweroff() need to take
the parent PM domain's lock in order to modify the parent's counter
of active subdomains in a nonracy way.  This causes the locking to be
considerably complex and in fact is not necessary, because the
subdomain counters may be implemented as atomic fields and they
won't have to be modified under a lock.

Replace the unsigned in sd_count field in struct generic_pm_domain
by an atomic_t one and modify the code in drivers/base/power/domain.c
to take this change into account.

This patch doesn't change the locking yet, that is going to be done
in a separate subsequent patch.

OMAP: omap_device: only override _noirq methods, not normal suspend/resume

Commit c03f007a8bf0e092caeb6856a5c8a850df10b974 (OMAP: PM:
omap_device: add system PM methods for PM domain handling) mistakenly
used SET_SYSTEM_SLEEP_PM_OPS() when trying to configure custom methods
for the PM domains noirq methods.  Fix that by setting only the
suspend_noirq and resume_noirq methods with custom versions.

Note that all other PM domain methods (including the "normal"
suspend/resume methods) are populated using USE_PLATFORM_PM_SLEEP_OPS,
which configures them all to the default subsystem (platform_bus)
methods.

ARM: mach-shmobile: sh7372 LCDC1 suspend fix

Associate the HDMI clock together with LCDC1 on sh7372.

Without this patch Suspend-to-RAM hangs on the boards
AP4EVB and Mackerel. The code hangs in the LCDC driver
where the software is waiting forever for the hardware to
power down. By explicitly associating the HDMI clock with
LCDC1 we can make sure the HDMI clock is enabled using
Runtime PM whenever the driver is accessing the hardware.

This HDMI and LCDC1 dependency is documented in the sh7372
data sheet. Older kernels did work as expected but the
recently merged (3.1-rc)

 794d78f drivers: sh: late disabling of clocks V2

introduced code to turn off clocks lacking software reference
which happens to include the HDMI clock that is needed by
LCDC1 to operate as expected.

sh-sci / PM: Use power.irq_safe

Since sci_port_enable() and sci_port_disable() may be run with
interrupts off and they execute pm_runtime_get_sync() and
pm_runtime_put_sync(), respectively, the SCI device's
power.irq_safe flag has to be set to indicate that it is safe
to execute runtime PM callbacks for this device with interrupts off.

The lock member of struct pm_clk_data is of type struct mutex,
which is a problem, because the suspend and resume routines
defined in drivers/base/power/clock_ops.c cannot be executed
with interrupts disabled for this reason.  Modify
struct pm_clk_data so that its lock member is a spinlock.

When we enter a 32-bit system call via SYSENTER or SYSCALL, we shuffle
the arguments to match the int $0x80 calling convention.  This was
probably a design mistake, but it's what it is now.  This causes
errors if the system call as to be restarted.

For SYSENTER, we have to invoke the instruction from the vdso as the
return address is hardcoded.  Accordingly, we can simply replace the
jump in the vdso with an int $0x80 instruction and use the slower
entry point for a post-restart.

Revert "irq: Always set IRQF_ONESHOT if no primary handler is specified"

This reverts commit f3637a5f2e2eb391ff5757bc83fb5de8f9726464.

It turns out that this breaks several drivers, one example being OMAP
boards which use the on-board OMAP UARTs and the omap-serial driver that
will not boot to userspace after the commit.

Paul Walmsley reports that enabling CONFIG_DEBUG_SHIRQ reveals 'IRQ
handler type mismatch' errors:

  IRQ handler type mismatch for IRQ 74
  current handler: serial idle
  ...

and the reason is that setting IRQF_ONESHOT will now result in those
interrupt handlers having different IRQF flags, and thus being
unsharable.  So the commit log in the reverted commit:

                            "Since it is required for those users and
    there is no difference for others it makes sense to add this flag
    unconditionally."

is simply not true: there may not be any difference from a "actions at
irq time", but there is a *big* difference wrt this flag testing irq
management (see __setup_irq() in kernel/irq/manage.c).

One solution may be to stop verifying IRQF_ONESHOT in __setup_irq(), but
right now the safe course of action is to revert the change.  Let's
revisit this in a later merge window.

drm/radeon: Extended DDC Probing for Toshiba L300D Radeon Mobility X1100 HDMI-A Connector

Toshiba Satellite L300D with ATI Mobility Radeon X1100 sends data
   to i2c bus for a HDMI connector that is not implemented/existent
   on the notebook's board.

   Fix by applying extented DDC probing for this connector.

HID: wiimote: Add status and return request handlers

The wiimote resets the current drm when an extension is plugged in.
Fortunately, it also sends a status report in this situation so we just
reset the drm on every status report to keep the drm consistent.

Also handle return reports from the wiimote which indicate success and
failure of requests that we've sent.

HID: wiimote: Add drm request

The wiimote reports data in several data reporting modes (DRM). The DRM
request makes the wiimote send data in the requested drm.

The DRM mode can be set explicitely or can be chosen by the driver. To let
the driver choose the DRM mode, pass WIIPROTO_REQ_NULL placeholder to it. This
is no valid request and is replaced with an appropriate DRM.

Currently, the driver always sets the basic DRM_K mode, but this will be
extended when further peripherals like accelerometer and IR are supported.

The new locking scheme in HID core allows us to remove a bit of synchronization.
Since the HID layer acts synchronously we simply register input core last and
there are no synchonization issues anymore.

drm/ttm: ensure ttm for new node is bound before calling move_notify()

This was true for new TTM_PL_SYSTEM and new TTM_PL_TT cases, but wasn't
the case on TTM_PL_SYSTEM<->TTM_PL_TT moves, which causes trouble on some
paths as nouveau's move_notify() hook requires that the dma addresses be
valid at this point.

HID: usbhid: Add support for SiGma Micro chip

Patch to add SiGma Micro-based keyboards (1c4f:0002) to hid-quirks.

These keyboards dont seem to allow the records to be initialized, and hence a
timeout occurs when the usbhid driver attempts to initialize them. The patch
just adds the signature for these keyboards to the hid-quirks list with the
setting HID_QUIRK_NO_INIT_REPORTS. This removes the 5-10 second wait for the
timeout to occur.

xfs: fix tracing builds inside the source tree

The code really requires the current source directory to be in the
header search path.  We already do this if building with an object
tree separate from the source, but it needs to be added manually
if building inside the source.  The cflags addition for it accidentally
got removed when collapsing the xfs directory structure.

drm/radeon/alpha: Add Alpha support to Radeon DRM code

Alpha needs to have available the system bus address for the Radeon's
local memory, so that it can be used in ttm_bo_vm_fault(), when building
the PTEs for accessing that VRAM.  So, we make bus.addr hold the ioremap()
return, and then we can modify bus.base appropriately for use during page
fault processing.

Btrfs: fix 64 bit divide problem

This fixes a regression introduced by commit cdcb725c05fe ("Btrfs: check
if there is enough space for balancing smarter").  We can't do 64-bit
divides on 32-bit architectures.

In cases where we need to divide/multiply by 2 we should just left/right
shift respectively, and in cases where theres N number of devices use
do_div.  Also make the counters u64 to match up with rw_devices.

sparc: Allow handling signals when stack is corrupted.

If we can't push the pending register windows onto the user's stack,
we disallow signal delivery even if the signal would be delivered on a
valid seperate signal stack.

Add a register window save area in the signal frame, and store any
unsavable windows there.

On sigreturn, if any windows are still queued up in the signal frame,
try to push them back onto the stack and if that fails we kill the
process immediately.

This allows the debug/tst-longjmp_chk2 glibc test case to pass.

ALSA: hda - Don't spew too many ELD errors

Currently HD-audio driver shows the all error ELD byte as an error
in the kernel message.  This is annoying when the video driver doesn't
set the correct ELD from the beginning. e.g. radeon sends a zero-byte
data, but we still check ELD with the fixed 128 byte as a workaround
for some broken devices, it spews 128-times errors.

For avoiding this, the driver aborts reading when the first byte is
invalid.  In such a case, the whole data is certainly invalid.

ext4: flush any pending end_io requests before DIO reads w/dioread_nolock

There is a race between ext4 buffer write and direct_IO read with
dioread_nolock mount option enabled. The problem is that we clear
PageWriteback flag during end_io time but will do
uninitialized-to-initialized extent conversion later with dioread_nolock.
If an O_direct read request comes in during this period, ext4 will return
zero instead of the recently written data.

This patch checks whether there are any pending uninitialized-to-initialized
extent conversion requests before doing O_direct read to close the race.
Note that this is just a bandaid fix. The fundamental issue is that we
clear PageWriteback flag before we really complete an IO, which is
problem-prone. To fix the fundamental issue, we may need to implement an
extent tree cache that we can use to look up pending to-be-converted extents.

drm/i915: set GFX_MODE to pre-Ivybridge default value even on Ivybridge

Prior to Ivybridge, the GFX_MODE would default to 0x800, meaning that
MI_FLUSH would flush the TLBs in addition to the rest of the caches
indicated in the MI_FLUSH command.  However starting with Ivybridge, the
register defaults to 0x2800 out of reset, meaning that to invalidate the
TLB we need to use PIPE_CONTROL.  Since we're not doing that yet, go
back to the old default so things work.

ALSA: usb-audio - Fix missing mixer dB information

The recent fix for testing dB range at the mixer creation time seems
to cause regressions in some devices.  In such devices, reading the dB
info at probing time gives an error, thus both dBmin and dBmax are still
zero, and TLV flag isn't set although the later read of dB info succeeds.

This patch adds a workaround for such a case by assuming that the later
read will succeed.  In future, a similar test should be performed in a
case where a wrong dB range is seen even in the later read.

vlan: reset headers on accel emulation path

It's after all necessary to do reset headers here. The reason is we
cannot depend that it gets reseted in __netif_receive_skb once skb is
reinjected. For incoming vlanids without vlan_dev, vlan_do_receive()
returns false with skb != NULL and __netif_reveive_skb continues, skb is
not reinjected.

This might be good material for 3.0-stable as well

drivers/ata/sata_dwc_460ex.c: add missing kfree

Currently, error handling code in this function calls the function
sata_dwc_port_stop, but this function has essentially no effect if hsdevp
has not been stored in ap, which is the case throughout this function.  The
only effect is to print a debugging message including ap->print_id.

The code is rewritten to not call sata_dwc_port_stop, but instead to jump
to a local label that prints the original error message and the print_id
information.  In the case where hsdevp has been already allocated (but not
yet stored in ap), this value is freed as well.

ata: Add iMX pata support

Add basic support for pata on iMX. It has been tested only on imx51.
SDMA support will probably be added later so this version supports only
PIO.

pata_via: disable ATAPI DMA on AVERATEC 3200

On AVERATEC 3200, pata_via causes memory corruption with ATAPI DMA,
which often leads to random kernel oops.  The cause of the problem is
not well understood yet and only small subset of machines using the
controller seem affected.  Blacklist ATAPI DMA on the machine.

[libata] sata_sil: fix used-uninit warning

Init 'serror' to silence the following warning:

drivers/ata/sata_sil.c: In function ‘sil_interrupt’:
drivers/ata/sata_sil.c:453:14: warning: ‘serror’ may be used uninitialized in
this function [-Wuninitialized]

This is not a 'can never happen' but is nonetheless extremely unlikely.
The easiest and cleanest warning fix is simply to init the var,
rather than worry about marking the var uninit-ok.
