From 4bae65c892b4ff9a2797cbfa8526a5f9aaf1b2ed Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Matt Carlson Date: Wed, 24 Nov 2010 08:31:52 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] tg3: use dma_alloc_coherent() instead of pci_alloc_consistent() Using dma_alloc_coherent() permits to use GFP_KERNEL allocations instead of GFP_ATOMIC ones. Its better when a machine is out of memory, because this allows driver to sleep to get its memory and succeed its init, especially when allocating high order pages.
